The birthday I will never forget, for the wrong reasons
Today, December 18, 2024, my LORD has blessed me to see 64. This is a day that should be a day of celebration, joy, and happiness; celebrated with loved ones and friends.
However, this is a day with unimaginable pain, sadness, and grief. This is the birthday that I am blessed to see 64, yet it is the birthday that I will see 64, alone.
This is the birthday, who’s celebration is a reflection of my heart, empty.
This is the birthday who’s happiness is as my heart, empty.
This is the birthday, who’s focus is on the only source of joy that I have, at all, the joy that my Queen, though not here, is in fact, with my LORD.
This is the birthday, who’s focus in on the only source of joy that I have, at all, that my LORD still fills my heart; with His love, for me.
This is the birthday, who’s focus is on the only source of peace that I still hold on to; The Most Holy Word of GOD.
This is the birthday that focuses on the power and truth of The Most Holy Word of GOD; “It is not good for man to be alone.”

This is the birthday that I do not have my “Helper” to “Help-Meet” me in this special day, as was to be this time of celebration, of another year.
This is the birthday that I not only do not have my “Helper” nor my “Help-Meet” for the first time in twenty-eight years of celebrating my birthday; it is also the first time in 64 years, that I do not have my eldest brother Freddie Shephard Jr. to call and celebrate this birthday with, as both our birthdays were on this day together.
This is the birthday that I will remember for the rest of my life, but for the wrong reasons.
However, I praise my LORD-GOD for the actual knowledge that my Queen, my “Helper” my “Help-Meet” my Wife, my absolute bestest friend-Linda D Shephard, as well as my eldest brother, Freddie Shephard Jr., is in fact, with my LORD.
Therefore, I will praise my LORD that I will see Him (first) then my Queen, then my other family members who, have asked, and received, salvation from my heavenly Abba-Father-GOD, and thereby, seeing them again.
Therefore, I will praise my LORD that He has blessed me with all of my children, all of my grandchildren and the few, very few friends that I have.
Moreover, though this is the birthday I will never forget, for all the wrong reasons: it is the birthday that I will remember, for the one right reason; that I did in fact, praise my LORD-GOD, my Savior-YESHUA CHRIST JESUS, above all the pain, sadness, and grief, for His love, grace, and mercy, and for His glory.
