Good morning beloved of YESHUA CHRIST JESUS. As is our precious, heavenly Father-GOD, our Savior and LORD-YESHUA CHRIST JESUS, and His Holy Spirit; He leads us to glean the sweet nectar He has for us, as He leads us through the life of our man of GOD, “King David”, that His Holy Spirit, reveals our Savior to us, that we continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Savior and LORD-YESHUA CHRIST JESUS, the Lamb of GOD, Who, to Him alone, belong all honor, praise, and glory, both this day, yesterday, and forever. Amen. Amen. Amen.
Therefore, beloved of YESHUA CHRIST JESUS, I believe our LORD’S Holy Spirit will have us to glean from the comments of one of His sons/servants, Jack W. Hayford; in the introduction to 1 Kings, that are the “PERSONAL APPLICATION”; “CHRIST REVEALED”; and “THE HOLY SPIRIT AT WORK”; before finishing in the first few chapters of 1 Kings; that we receive all that our LORD-GOD has for us, as we look to our risen Savior and LORD-YESHUA CHRIST JESUS. THE HOLY SPIRIT AT WORK First Kings 18:12 is the only direct reference to the Holy Spirit in 1 Kings, where He is called the “Spirit of the LORD.” The words of Obadiah there indicate that the Holy Spirit sometimes transported Elijah from one location to another (see also 2 Kin. 2:16). This is not unlike Acts 8:39, 40, where Philip is described as having a similar experience.
There is an allusion in 18:46 (“the hand of the LORD”) to the Holy Spirit’s work of enabling Elijah to do the miraculous. The formula “hand of the LORD” referred to the inspiration of the prophets by the Spirit of God (see 2 Kin. 3:15 and Ezek. 1:3; compare with 1 Sam. 10:6, 10 and 19:20, 23). Here “the hand of the LORD” refers to the Spirit of God who endowed Elijah with supernatural strength to do an amazing feat (for similar examples, see Judg. 14:6, 19; and 15:14).
In addition to these passages, 1 Kings 22:24 (see 1 Chr. 18:23) may be another reference to the Holy Spirit. This verse refers to a “spirit from the LORD” (see note on 22:24) and may indicate that the prophets understood that their ability to prophesy came by the Spirit of God (see 1 Sam. 10:6, 10; 19:20, 23). If this interpretation is taken, then it would correlate with 1 Corinthians 12:7-11, which confirms that the ability to prophesy is indeed a manifestation of the Holy Spirit.

Good afternoon beloved of YESHUA CHRIST JESUS. This morning, my LORD’S Holy Spirit rescued me, again, in that, I could not find (1 Chronicles 18:23) as listed in the above commentary by the Holy Spirit, through one of His beloved sons/servants; Jack W. Hayford, Litt.D., in his commentary on the Holy Spirit in 1 Kings. That is not to try and jump to say that the most Holy Word is in error; that is just to say exactly what it is; in the making of the commentary, the one typing what the Holy Spirit had led them to, made a mistake in his/her typing. Amen.
Instead of “(see 1 Chr. 18:23)” it is actually (see 2 Chronicles 18:23). Amen.
Fret not beloved, if you are an adopted son of GOD Most High, and you choose to be a vessel through which His awesome Holy Spirit may flow, you too, just as I have and for surely will again, make mistakes. However, praise be to our LORD-GOD that He is faithful in His tender love, guidance, grace, mercy, and longsuffering. Amen.
