Institution of the Lord’s Supper
23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, [a]“Take, eat; this is My body which is [b]broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”

Good morning beloved; who have been saved by grace (GOD’S gift to the world—His only begotten Son-YESHUA CHRIST JESUS) through faith (in the precious Blood, death, burial, and resurrection [on the third day, according to Scripture] of our Messiah-YESHUA CHRIST JESUS-by His Holy Spirit; for the forgiveness of our sin of self-righteousness.) Amen.

Abram and Melchizedek
18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. 19 And he blessed him and said:
“Blessed be Abram of God Most High,
Possessor of heaven and earth;
20 And blessed be God Most High,
Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.”
And he gave him [a]a tithe of all.

Good morning beloved of YESHUA CHRIST JESUS. As is our precious, heavenly Father-GOD, our Savior and LORD-YESHUA CHRIST JESUS, and His Holy Spirit; He leads us to glean the sweet nectar He has for us, as He leads us through the life of our man of GOD, “King David”, that His Holy Spirit, reveals our Savior to us, that we continue to grow in the grace and knowledge of our Savior and LORD-YESHUA CHRIST JESUS, the Lamb of GOD, Who, to Him alone, belong all honor, praise, and glory, both this day, yesterday, and forever. Amen. Amen. Amen.
Therefore, beloved of YESHUA CHRIST JESUS, I believe our LORD’S Holy Spirit will have us to glean from the comments of one of His servants/sons, Jack W. Hayford; in the introduction to 1 Kings, that are the “PERSONAL APPLICATION”; “CHRIST REVEALED”; and “THE HOLY SPIRIT AT WORK”; before finishing in the first few chapters of 1 Kings; that we receive all that our LORD-GOD has for us, as we look to our risen Savior and LORD-YESHUA CHRIST JESUS. Amen. Amen. Amen.
‘. . . “CHRIST REVEALED The failure of the prophets, priests, and kings of God’s people points to the necessity of the advent of Christ. Christ Himself would be the ideal combination of these three offices. As a Prophet, Christ’s word far surpasses that of the great prophet Elijah (Matt. 17:1-5). Many of the miracles of Jesus were reminiscent of the wonders God did through Elijah and Elisha in Kings. In addition, Christ is a Priest superior to any of those recorded in Kings (Heb. 7:22-27). First Kings vividly illustrates the need for Christ as our reigning King. When asked if He was King of the Jews, Jesus affirmed that He was (Matt. 27:11). However, Christ is a King “greater than Solomon” (Matt. 12:42). The name “Solomon” means “Peace”; Christ is the “Prince of Peace,” and there will be no end to His peace (Is. 9:6). Solomon was noted for his wisdom, but Christ is the “wisdom of God” (1 Cor. 1:25, 29). Solomon’s reign was temporary, but Christ will reign on the throne of David forever (1 Chr. 17:14; Is. 9:6), for He is “KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS” (Rev. 19:16). For a further study of allusions to Christ during the time of 1 Kings, read Introduction to 1 Chronicles: Christ Revealed and Introduction to 2 Chronicles: Christ Revealed.” (NEW SPIRIT FILLED LIFE Bible—Jack W. Hayford, Litt.D.—New King James Version—THOMAS NELSON—Since 1798)
‘. . . “THE FIRST BOOK OF THE CHRONICLES
CHRIST REVEALED Christ is foreshadowed in 1 Chronicles in much the same way as He is in 1 Kings (see Introduction to 1 Kings: Christ Revealed). However, in 1 Chronicles, many have seen an allusion to Christ in reference to the temple. First Chronicles 21 (also 2 Sam. 24) explains that as a consequence for sin, a death plague had broken out against Israel. David buys a piece of property from Ornan on which to make a sacrifice that stops the plague. This site on Mount Moriah was the very place where Solomon would build the temple (2 Chr. 3:1). It is possible that this was the very mountain where Abraham was asked to sacrifice his son Isaac (Gen. 22:2). In the New Testament, three times Paul refers to believers as the “temple of God” (1 Cor. 3:16, 17; 6:19; Eph. 2:19-22). It is Christ who has purchased the ground for this spiritual temple. It was His sacrifice that delivered us from death (Rom. 5:12-18; 7:24, 25; 1 John 3:14).” (NEW SPIRIT FILLED LIFE Bible—Jack W. Hayford, Litt.D.—New King James Version—THOMAS NELSON—Since 1798)
‘. . . “Romans 5:12-18
New King James Version
Death in Adam, Life in Christ
12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned— 13 (For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law. 14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come. 15 But the free gift is not like the [a]offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many. 16 And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many [b]offenses resulted in justification. 17 For if by the one man’s [c]offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)
18 Therefore, as through [d]one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one[e] Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.
