Institution of the Lord’s Supper
23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, [a]“Take, eat; this is My body which is [b]broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”

Amen.

18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. 19 And he blessed him and said:
“Blessed be Abram of God Most High,
Possessor of heaven and earth;
20 And blessed be God Most High,
Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.”
And he gave him [a]a tithe of all.

“21:1 To number Israel: The census of David in this chapter is also recorded in 2 Sam. 24, but there it states that it was because God was angry with Israel (the reason for this is unclear) that He moved David to take the census. The account of the census has been problematic because God does not cause anyone to sin (James 1:13) and because it is not apparent why such a census was wrong (Num. 1:2, 3; 26:2-4). The first problem is clarified by comparing 2 Sam. 24:1 with 1 Chr. 21:1; God did not directly incite David to do something for which He would then turn around and judge him (v. 14); rather, He allowed Satan to influence David to do what David probably already had in his heart to do (James 1:14, 15).
This is similar to the times when the Lord allowed Satan to trouble Job (Job 1:12; 2:6) or when He permitted an evil spirit to torment Saul (1 Sam. 16:14). This is one of the only three OT references where Satan (literally, “Adversary”) is mentioned by name (see also Job 1; 2; Zech. 3:1). The absence of the definite article (the) before “Satan” in v. 1 indicates that the title, which emphasized his role in inciting rebellion against God, had already become a proper name.
Although we are not told why the numbering was evil (v. 7), it was perhaps either an indication that David was trusting more in his military strength than in God’s power (see Ps. 20:7) or a violation of God’s instruction to Moses on how to conduct a census (see Ex. 30:11-16). The first would be a sin of motive and the second, a sin of method.” (NEW SPIRIT FILLED LIFE Bible—Jack W. Hayford, Litt.D.— New King James Version—THOMAS NELSON—Since 1798)

Beloved of YESHUA CHRIST JESUS, do you remember reading that Job did not sin against GOD with his lips, by judging GOD for the wrong that he had just endured, by the killing of all that GOD had blessed him with, except for his wife?
“Job 1:20-22
New King James Version
20 Then Job arose, tore his robe, and shaved his head; and he fell to the ground and worshiped. 21 And he said:
“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
And naked shall I return there.
The Lord gave, and the Lord has taken away;
Blessed be the name of the Lord.”
22 In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with wrong.
“Job 2:9-10
New King James Version
9 Then his wife said to him, “Do you still hold fast to your integrity? [a]Curse God and die!”
10 But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” In all this Job did not sin with his lips.

Beloved of YESHUA CHRIST JESUS, I informed you that I’d be here for a while because I had asked Father-GOD to teach me and give me understanding of why He was angry with our man of GOD, “King David” when He had just blessed Israel. Amen. I asked beloved, because that is not the character of my LORD-GOD, of man, yes; of my LORD-GOD, no. Amen.
The first lesson I receive is that our LORD-GOD is not schizophrenic, bi-polar, nor does He suffer from any other mental attack by satan. No beloved, our LORD-GOD does not (as I have heard it preached many, many times by false prophets) give someone cancer, to teach them humility. Or, when a baby, or young person, is killed or dies, I’ve heard it preached; GOD needed another angel in heaven.
If beloved, this is your religion, you probably should follow the rest who have left from following this ministry our LORD-GOD has blessed me with because I do not now, nor ever will, believe that my LORD-GOD is anything but awesome love. Amen.
Our LORD’S Holy Spirit is teaching us that our man of GOD, “King David” may have had something in his heart that satan was able to touch, leading our man of GOD, “King David” to sin against our LORD-GOD. Amen.
However, since our LORD did call him a man after GOD’S own heart, tells me that our man of GOD, “King David” did learn from his mistake: question is, will we learn with our man of GOD, “King David”? Or stick to our religion and sin against our LORD-GOD with our lips and heart?
Have a blessed Monday beloved of YESHUA CHRIST JESUS. Amen. Sincerely: Mr. and Mrs. Timothy M. and Linda Shephard. Amen.
