Institution of the Lord’s Supper

23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, [a]“Take, eat; this is My body which is [b]broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. God’s Covenant with David

Now it came to pass when the king was dwelling in his house, and the Lord had given him rest from all his enemies all around, that the king said to Nathan the prophet, “See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells inside tent curtains.”

Then Nathan said to the king, “Go, do all that is in your heart, for the Lord is with you.”

But it happened that night that the word of the Lord came to Nathan, saying, “Go and tell My servant David, ‘Thus says the Lord: “Would you build a house for Me to dwell in? For I have not dwelt in a house since the time that I brought the children of Israel up from Egypt, even to this day, but have moved about in a tent and in a tabernacle. Wherever I have moved about with all the children of Israel, have I ever spoken a word to anyone from the tribes of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people Israel, saying, ‘Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?’ ” ’ Now therefore, thus shall you say to My servant David, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be ruler over My people, over Israel. And I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have [a]cut off all your enemies from before you, and have made you a great name, like the name of the great men who are on the earth. 10 Moreover I will appoint a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own and move no more; nor shall the sons of wickedness oppress them anymore, as previously, 11 since the time that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel, and have caused you to rest from all your enemies. Also the Lord [b]tells you that He will make you a [c]house.

“7:1, 2   |   During this time of rest within David’s kingdom, a dream was born. While the context of the dream was peace, the concern was a place: David looked out at the world from his house of cedar and saw that there was no permanent place to carry on the work of God.’

‘7:3   |   Nathan responded to David’s question out of turn, before he had received a revelation from the Lord, and his first answer turned out to be inconsistent with God’s will (1 Chron. 17:1-15).’

‘7:5-7   |   David’s desire to build a house for God to dwell in was noble, but God had given him the role of warrior. The time to build the temple would be after all the battles were won (2 Chron. 6:7-9). Furthermore, the Lord of Israel was not like other nations’ gods, who were concerned about the temples that were built for them. God was concerned with raising up a spiritual kingdom of people.’

7:11   |   Rather than allowing David to build a house for Him (7:5), God promised to build a house for David that would last forever—culminating in the eternal reign of the Lord Jesus.”                 (THE JEREMIAH STUDY BIBLE—DR. DAVID JEREMIAH—NEW KING JAMES STUDY BIBLE—WORTHY)

God’s Covenant with David

17 Now it came to pass, when David was dwelling in his house, that David said to Nathan the prophet, “See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of the covenant of the Lord is under tent curtains.”

Then Nathan said to David, “Do all that is in your heart, for God is with you.”

But it happened that night that the word of God came to Nathan, saying, “Go and tell My servant David, ‘Thus says the Lord: “You shall not build Me a house to dwell in. For I have not dwelt in a house since the time that I brought up Israel, even to this day, but have gone from tent to tent, and from one tabernacle to another. Wherever I have moved about with all Israel, have I ever spoken a word to any of the judges of Israel, whom I commanded to shepherd My people, saying, ‘Why have you not built Me a house of cedar?’ ” ’ Now therefore, thus shall you say to My servant David, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts: “I took you from the sheepfold, from following the sheep, to be [a]ruler over My people Israel. And I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have cut off all your enemies from before you, and have [b]made you a name like the name of the great men who are on the earth. Moreover I will appoint a place for My people Israel, and will plant them, that they may dwell in a place of their own and move no more; nor shall the sons of wickedness oppress them anymore, as previously, 10 since the time that I commanded judges to be over My people Israel. Also I will subdue all your enemies. Furthermore I tell you that the Lord will build you a [c]house. 11 And it shall be, when your days are fulfilled, when you must [d]go to be with your fathers, that I will set up your seed after you, who will be of your sons; and I will establish his kingdom. 12 He shall build Me a house, and I will establish his throne forever. 13 I will be his Father, and he shall be My son; and I will not take My mercy away from him, as I took it from him who was before you. 14 And I will establish him in My house and in My kingdom forever; and his throne shall be established forever.” ’ ”

15 According to all these words and according to all this vision, so Nathan spoke to David.

Let him who has an ear, hear what the Holy Spirit says to His church. Amen.

Good morning beloved of YESHUA CHRIST JESUS. Just as each time our LORD’S Holy Spirit has brought us to these Scriptures of His Most Holy Word of GOD, so again I say to you, you who are reading them here, our LORD clearly proclaims His everlasting covenant with our man of GOD, “King David.”

This covenant, as expressed in the above Scriptures, clearly says that this covenant is a lasting covenant—forever! Through the precious Blood, death, burial, and resurrection of the Lamb of GOD (He is the everlasting covenant).

Therefore, those of you who have chosen your black messiah-Obama; or your white messiah-Biden; or your political messiah; you do not attack just the Jew or just the land of Israel; but you attack the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel—GOD Most High.

Why did I not name Trump in the above-named messiah’s; only, I said-only because he is the only president who supported Israel and did not attack Israel.

Though in his pride, he turned from helping Israel, and then the LORD my GOD removed him, just as He removed king Saul. Amen.

Therefore, in the awesome, longsuffering, patient grace, and mercy of the LORD my GOD, He has spoken to you and speaks to you, you who have chosen your messiah’s, to turn back to the LORD my GOD, and do not continue to be a stiff-necked people, but humble yourselves and be the children of GOD Most High, and live blessed now and forever, or stay stiff-necked and live at war with GOD Most High. You choose. But, as for me and my house!

“Adversity is the test of faith; prosperity is the test of integrity.”

(THE JEREMIAH STUDY BIBLE—DR. DAVID JEREMIAH—NEW KING JAMES STUDY BIBLE—WORTHY)

Have a blessed Tuesday beloved of YESHUA CHRIST JESUS. Amen.

With much precious love, grace, and mercy, from our heavenly Abba-Father-GOD, our Savior and Redeemer-YESHUA CHRIST JESUS, and His Holy Spirit, to Israel and to you and I;           Sincerely: Mr. and Mrs. Timothy M. and Linda Shephard. Amen.
