Institution of the Lord’s Supper

23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, [a]“Take, eat; this is My body which is [b]broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. Possessor of heaven and earth;
20 And blessed be God Most High,
Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.”

           Good morning beloved of YESHUA CHRIST JESUS. Beloved, this morning, I have had to pause and lift up my heart to my LORD, as I do each morning, however, this morning much more so, that what I speak, is from the heart of my LORD-GOD, mixed with grace and not with my anger; therefore, beloved, I am now able to type, for my LORD-GOD has once again, help me to hear the still small voice that is His voice. Amen.

           “Ephesians 4:26-32

New King James Version

26 “Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath, 27 nor give [a]place to the devil. 28 Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. 29 Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary [b]edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. 30 And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. 31 Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, [c]clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. 32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

           Amen. To the law enforcement officer who reportedly found out that his child was one of the innocent victims at the school that he himself had responded to; to each and every parent who woke up this morning to the hell that is without your beautiful child, whether from this demonic attack at this school or from whatever means satan has attacked your family; I speak to you, the most Holy Word of my GOD. Amen. For beloved, there is no one who can comfort your heart except for the One Who endured the death of His only begotten Son and Who rejoiced in His resurrection from the dead, to eternal life. Amen.

           Beloved, let us press in to see the faithfulness of our LORD-GOD that we may be encouraged, that just as our LORD-GOD was faithful in the life of our man of GOD, “King David”, so He is faithful to His children, through the precious Blood, death, burial, and resurrection, on the third day, according to Scripture, of our Savior and LORD-YESHUA CHRIST JESUS. Amen. Amen. Amen.

David’s Further Conquests

After this it came to pass that David [a]attacked the Philistines and subdued them. And David took [b]Metheg Ammah from the hand of the Philistines.

Then he defeated Moab. Forcing them down to the ground, he measured them off with a line. With two lines he measured off those to be put to death, and with one full line those to be kept alive. So the Moabites became David’s servants, and brought tribute.

David also defeated Hadadezer the son of Rehob, king of Zobah, as he went to recover his territory at the River Euphrates. David took from him one thousand chariots, [c]seven hundred horsemen, and twenty thousand foot soldiers. Also David hamstrung all the chariot horses, except that he spared enough of them for one hundred chariots.

When the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadadezer king of Zobah, David killed twenty-two thousand of the Syrians. Then David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus; and the Syrians became David’s servants, and brought tribute. So the Lord preserved David wherever he went. And David took the shields of gold that had belonged to the servants of Hadadezer, and brought them to Jerusalem. Also from [d]Betah and from Berothai,[e] cities of Hadadezer, King David took a large amount of bronze.

When [f]Toi king of Hamath heard that David had defeated all the army of Hadadezer, 10 then Toi sent [g]Joram his son to King David, to [h]greet him and bless him, because he had fought against Hadadezer and defeated him (for Hadadezer had been at war with Toi); and Joram brought with him articles of silver, articles of gold, and articles of bronze. 11 King David also dedicated these to the Lord, along with the silver and gold that he had dedicated from all the nations which he had subdued— 12 from [i]Syria, from Moab, from the people of Ammon, from the Philistines, from Amalek, and from the spoil of Hadadezer the son of Rehob, king of Zobah.

13 And David made himself a name when he returned from killing eighteen thousand [j]Syrians in the Valley of Salt. 14 He also put garrisons in Edom; throughout all Edom he put garrisons, and all the Edomites became David’s servants. And the Lord preserved David wherever he went.

David’s Administration

15 So David reigned over all Israel; and David administered judgment and justice to all his people. 16 Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the army; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder; 17 Zadok the son of Ahitub and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar were the priests; [k]Seraiah was the [l]scribe; 18 Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over both the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David’s sons were [m]chief ministers.
