Institution of the Lord’s Supper
23 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; 24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, [a]“Take, eat; this is My body which is [b]broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” 25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”

Hello beloved; who have been saved by grace (GOD’S gift to the world—His only begotten Son-YESHUA CHRIST JESUS) through faith (in the precious Blood, death, burial, and resurrection [on the third day, according to Scripture] of our Messiah-YESHUA CHRIST JESUS-by His Holy Spirit; for the forgiveness of our sin of self-righteousness.) Abram and Melchizedek
18 Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; he was the priest of God Most High. 19 And he blessed him and said:
“Blessed be Abram of God Most High,
Possessor of heaven and earth;
20 And blessed be God Most High,
Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.”
And he gave him [a]a tithe of all.

Good morning beloved of YESHUA CHRIST JESUS. Beloved, this morning, I would like to lift up a man of extraordinary substance. Amen. A man that I believe was literally, a man after GOD’S own heart. This man beloved, I believe my LORD picked personally, to focus me on my LORD as well as on what a husband looks like (notwithstanding the greatest men in my life, Sterling Shephard Sr [Grandfather] and Tom Shephard [Uncle]) Amen. Outside of my Grandfather and my Uncle; this man had the greatest impact on my life.
Beloved, you have heard me mention him before and he is Huse Beach Sr.
Beloved, Huse Beach Sr. lived two houses away from my parents and I. He and my father were about the same age, my father may have been just a few years older, I’m not sure, but they were pretty much the same age.
Beloved, Huse Beach Sr. was a man’s man. At the young age of little boy, I had no idea what that meant but I knew one thing, I loved me some Huse Beach Sr. Amen. I would go over to his house and ask why he was washing his motorcycle, or van, or car, for which he would answer, and then, I would ask why to that answer, and beloved, this would go on until this superman, Huse Beach Sr. had given more answers than I had questions. Then when I had no more questions, he’d look at me and ask if I had any more questions. The astonishing patience of this man was a gift from my GOD. Amen.
To help you get the nectar out of this beloved, when I would ask my father questions, he would usually tell me I was stupid for asking such nonsense. Therefore, I would ask my mother, my grandfather or my uncle or Huse Beach Sr. Whenever I asked either one of them anything, and I mean anything, they would answer me, never making me feel stupid nor ever calling me stupid.
Beloved, Huse Beach Sr. was a man of GOD. Amen. He was a deacon in our local Non-Denominal church, my dad was a Baptist preacher, so he didn’t believe what they believed however, I heard what Huse Beach Sr. would answer me about GOD, and I saw what he did everyday in the lives of his children, some my age, and what he did in the life of his marriage and; I heard what my father said when he preached and I saw what he did in our home with my mother and with me; beloved, just in what I heard and saw, I was very comfortable around Huse Beach Sr. and was terribly afraid of my father. I ran away from being around my father, to be around Huse Beach Sr.
Huse Beach Sr. had a beautiful, light skinned wife who was really nice and I enjoyed watching them interact. Beloved, when I would leave our house to go to Huse Beach Sr.: hearing screaming; crashing; hollering; fighting; Huse would just say, “Your mom and dad not getting along today?” But this was almost everyday and he knew he was my escape, he was my safe place, he was my hero, and he welcomed me with love, in the summertime or the wintertime, you could hear the fighting all year.
My LORD blessed me with the “Motorcycle man” through Huse Beach Sr. (the motorcycle man moved in with Huse Beach Sr. before Huse married, so, I had both together, he would become my best man in my marriage.) These two men kept me out of the streets. The motorcycle man was younger than Huse Beach Sr.
After my grandfather passed, I had the love of my uncle Tom, Huse Beach Sr, and Earnest Holloway (Motorcycle Man). As a man of GOD, I try to walk in the steps of Sterling Shephard Sr. and Huse Beach Sr (both were Deacons). These two men were what a real man of GOD looked like to me. Amen. I continue to try to emulate these two men of GOD; my grandfather and Huse Beach Sr. Amen.
When law enforcement was attacking black people daily, I had a mega giant in law enforcement, a Deputy Sheriff, who was a black man; a Christian; a loving husband; a great father; (to his children and to me) a motorcycle man; and my hero. Amen. I got my first motorcycle and was very excited to show Huse Beach Sr. Later on, he helped me to get on the Summit County Sheriff’s Department, and I was on my way to become just like my hero; Huse Beach Sr. Amen.
With the racism I encountered in law enforcement, I was blessed to see more professional law enforcement officers like Huse Beach Sr., like my brother Wayne Bush, like Corporal Katrina Hood and though there are still racists in the uniform, my eye does not go to them but my eyes remember my hero Huse Beach Sr., Summit County Deputy Sheriff, my hero who my LORD-GOD chose to nurture the heart and confidence of a little boy; and I looked just like him. Amen.
Beloved, let us partake of the sweet nectar our LORD-GOD has for us as He reveals Himself to us in the life of our man of GOD, “King David”. Amen. Amen!
“2 Samuel 7:1-3
New King James Version
God’s Covenant with David
7 Now it came to pass when the king was dwelling in his house, and the Lord had given him rest from all his enemies all around, 2 that the king said to Nathan the prophet, “See now, I dwell in a house of cedar, but the ark of God dwells inside tent curtains.”
3 Then Nathan said to the king, “Go, do all that is in your heart, for the Lord is with you.”
“Psalm 18:37-50
New King James Version
37 I have pursued my enemies and overtaken them;
Neither did I turn back again till they were destroyed.
38 I have wounded them,
So that they could not rise;
They have fallen under my feet.
39 For You have armed me with strength for the battle;
You have [a]subdued under me those who rose up against me.
40 You have also given me the necks of my enemies,
So that I destroyed those who hated me.
41 They cried out, but there was none to save;
Even to the Lord, but He did not answer them.
42 Then I beat them as fine as the dust before the wind;
I cast them out like dirt in the streets.
43 You have delivered me from the strivings of the people;
You have made me the head of the [b]nations;
A people I have not known shall serve me.
44 As soon as they hear of me they obey me;
The foreigners [c]submit to me.
45 The foreigners fade away,
And come frightened from their hideouts.
46 The Lord lives!
Blessed be my Rock!
Let the God of my salvation be exalted.
47 It is God who avenges me,
And subdues the peoples under me;
48 He delivers me from my enemies.
You also lift me up above those who rise against me;
You have delivered me from the violent man.
49 Therefore I will give thanks to You, O Lord, among the [d]Gentiles,
And sing praises to Your name.
50 Great deliverance He gives to His king,
And shows mercy to His anointed,
To David and his [e]descendants forevermore.
